Junior Portfolio Manager- London- Law- 12 Months- £400-500 p/d

My client is looking for a Junior Portfolio Manager with extensive experience in IT operations, contract negotiations, governance and managing the budget framework.

The Junior Portfolio Manager would be responsible for managing the purchase of software licenses/ hardware assets, ensuring objectives were met on time/budget and overall management for the IT programme structure for projects.

Must have exposure in running a number of varied portfolios at the same time in a number of different streams, governance, IT , supply change, risk and operations

The Junior Portfolio manager would lead the procurement process, ensure contracts are reviewed and resigned within their terms, oversee programme meetings and undertake the role of project manager for some IT projects.

This role could be considered similar to a Project Office Manager in many ways

Key skills

* Create and Manage a £3 million pound budget

* Manager the procurement process, creating all purchase orders and purchasing of all hardware and software licenses

* Running varied portfolios in governance, IT operations, regulatory and risk

* Lead negotiations on all current IT contracts

* Oversee programme meetings to ensure consistency whilst highlighting risks, issues and decisions

* Lead regular reviews of the IT project portfolio, providing updates including financials

* Overall management and governance for the IT programme structure for budgets
