Our client is looking for a Technical Product Owner Team Leader. This role will operate across both the technology and product spectrum at the core of product development. It will involve working closely with stakeholders to analyse and capture the product vision, translating epics into user stories/requirements for the engineering team to iterate over. As thus is an lead role it is important people aspect, taking on the line-management of community members; as well as playing a pivotal role in evangelising and evolving discipline itself across the group.

This role will involve:

* Contribute to the strategic direction, as well as deliver on day to day demands

* Have an active say in the Software Engineering vision

* Help drive a culture of continuous improvement

* Inspire the TPOs, engineers and QA's within TIS

* Grow and develop our talent, spotting opportunities for people to exceed

The right candidate:

* Is a leader that encourages team collaboration, works well with peers, promotes enthusiasm, leverages powers of influence, and builds relationships

* Has experience managing small software or product teams

* Has a relevant and accomplished track record supporting the delivery of high-quality products in a product owner capacity

* Is creative, having an ability to find out-of-the-box and non-traditional ways to problem solve

* Is proactive, providing suggestions and takes the lead on initiatives without being asked by internal or external partners

* Is efficient, highly resourceful, organised, and evaluates everything to implement ways of doing things better and faster

* Is curious, investigating the situations, asks relevant questions, and gives specific and actionable recommendations

* Has excellent conceptual/technical writing, and documentation skills

* Has strong negotiation, change management, and conflict resolution skills

* Is at ease working in a cross-functional agile team, alongside other engineers, product owners, designers, and testers

* Can evangelise and advocate best and emerging practices to support product development

* Sound decision-making based on both data analysis and judgement

* Is well versed working in the agile development processes and frameworks

* Has a genuine interest in technology with a good appreciation of modern web technologies
