Contract Front End / Angular Developer required , Glasgow

My innovative and expanding client is looking for a Front End Developer for a large digital transformation project

The location is south Glasgow, the duration is 6 months initially, start dates within the next 3 weeks. Rates we can offer are £450-500DOE.

Our ideal candidate will have delivered multiple web site deployments using a number of different web front end technologies. The successful candidate will help develop the roadmap for application development and be happy to mentor less experienced developers.

----Skills sought:

* Minimum 5 years of front end web development

* Detailed knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (ideally Angular v5 or v6, RXJS )

* Excellent CSS and HTML skills

* Experience of setting web design and development standards (eg accessibility, security, responsive design)

* Experience of designing large scale web solutions, microservices and service oriented architectures

* Mentoring and knowledge sharing with others

----Desirable Experience:

* Experience of working with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

* Exposure to wider AWS technologies (e.g. API Gateway, Lambda, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy)

* Experience of creating enterprise-grade Java applications

* Experience of working with web service technologies
