Business Analyst - Automation & Control
Saltaire, West Yorkshire (office/field based, with travel throughout the UK and overseas)
The Company
Serving a range of blue chip and FTSE 100 companies, our client is a leading systems integrator. They deliver a range of technical solutions and services, including turnkey automation projects, Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and manufacturing operations management.
Due to ongoing growth, they’re now looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in Saltaire.

The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will support the successful delivery of SCADA and automation projects for customers.
Liaising with customers, you’ll gain a strong understanding of their business and tech requirements and determine the best solution to meet their needs.
Specifically, you will:
- Facilitate and carry out systems design workshops
- Lead and support operational surveys and automation surveys
- Handover functional specifications to the Technical Team
- Work with customers to determine a test plan and methodology
- Support the system deployment process
- Spend approximately 50% of your role travelling throughout the UK and overseas
About You
To be considered as a Business Analyst, you’ll need:
- Expertise in automation and SCADA
- An understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- A full, clean driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
