My client based in Dorset are looking for a Network & Telephony Support Analyst on an initial 6 month contract (with excellent opportunity of extension)

You will be working in a busy teams of which you will be responsible for the day to day management, support and configuration of network, telephone, security and AV systems across the department

You will

*Identify and propose preventative measures and services to improve service delivery within LAN (wired and wireless), WAN, Telephony, Security and Audio/Visual systems.

*Be responsible for the successful implementation of new and enhanced network, telephony, security and audio/visual services.

*Work with other teams and individuals to assist with any service improvement plans.

*Configure and Install network, telephony, security and audio/visual devices and related products.

*Document procedures and scripts for all aspects day-to-day operations.

*Pro-actively utilise network, telephony, security and audio/visual tools to investigate, diagnose and resolve problems, within service level agreement tolerances.

*Manage and maintain a high availability network, telephony, security and audio/visual infrastructure.

*Continuously update and develop specialist knowledge of network, telephony, security and audio/visual technologies.

*Interpret installation standards to meet particular project needs and produce server, device and infrastructure components as required.

*Evaluate potential solutions, demonstrating, installing and commissioning selected products.

*Construct, extend or maintain, test, correct and document components within the technologies to achieve well engineered products.

*Liaise with IT Services colleagues, Faculties, Professional Services, suppliers and agencies to implement successful live environments (as well as upgrades) using structured deployment techniques, tailored to the organisations requirements.

*Ensure compliance with BU internal processes, governance and legislative requirements.
