Software Engineer (Java, Scala) - FX, Fixed Income Hedge Fund

Software Engineer (Java, Scala) - A multi asset class hedge fund held in high esteem is looking for a highly talented Software Engineer (Java, Scala) to join a brand-new part of their business.

The Software Engineer (Java, Scala) will focus on end to end trade lifecycle with a focus on growing their new market data platform.

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Java, Scala) with the following:

* Excellent knowledge of Core Java (Concurrency, Java8)

* JVM experience (Ideally in Scala but open to any other)

* The ability to work with systems that process enormous data volumes

* Outstanding communication and collaboration skills

You will work on HFT, algo trading within the hedge fund space using open source technologies such C# & JavaScript on top of the Java & Scala back end. The Software Engineer (Java, Scala) will work with high profile end users improving returns allowing traders to process trades in various financial markets.
