Floorwalker - Office 365 Migration

3-6 Months initially

Bridgwater, Bristol and Gloucester based

Rate: £180 - £200 per day

We are working with a world leading organisation on a long term programme of work. We have a requirement for a Security Cleared (SC) Floorwalker - Office 365 Migration, to join the team.

Key Skills/Experience:

*Floor Walker to support Office 365 Migration: Floor Walker to support Office 365 Migration. On site to capture user issues and escalate if necessary for resolution.

*Technically sound in Office 365 suite of products, ideally have office 365 migration experience, including Exchange 2016 / 2013, Lync, Skype for Business.

*Office 365 Migration/MS Exchange/Powershell/PST/SMTP/IT Specialist to to assist with part of an Office 365 migration.

*Experience in Migration from On-premises to Office 365 for large customers

*Exporting mailboxes, using PowerShell commands, from a local Exchange 2010 server to PST files.

*Using the Azure secure upload tool in order to move PST files to the cloud;

*Creating mapping templates that will be uploaded to the Office 365 bulk importer;

*Monitoring the import process to shared mailboxes;

*Adjusting SMTP addresses on local Exchange 2010 servers and directly on cloud-only shared mailboxes

*Understanding of different migration scenarios and tools, migration from various on-premises environments

*Good knowledge on configuration, implementation and management of Office 365 portal and policies.

*Good knowledge of ADFS, Directory Synchronization, Azure AD

*Knowledge of PowerShell scripting

*Mail archival strategies - on-premises vs. on Cloud

*Understanding of Network traffic rules, firewall requirements, DMZ requirements, Mail filtering policies and tools, application integration requirements for Office 365

*The bulk of the work will involve mailbox migrations using an export, upload, import process that are currently being defined and tested - however, the candidate will further define, validate and take full ownership of the migration process and technical elements.

*Production Support

*Very Good communication skills.
