IT Service Resilience Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity for a IT Service Resilience Analyst to join Direct Line Group, a market leading insurer based in Bromley. We’re just 15 mins from Victoria!

Operating in a team of 5 you will assist the Service Resilience Manager by executing IT Service Resilience processes, including; scheduling, planning, and executing (inc reporting) recovery proving events in line with Direct Line Group’s Recovery (DR) testing schedule to help assure IT Services that support our most critical businesses processes and activities.

You will work within the "Live Services" function of Technology Services, with the opportunity to be part of a huge transformation project happening over the next two years with significant investments.

Some key focuses will be;

-Work with key DLG suppliers to help maintain our IT Service Resilience processes, documentation and reports in accordance with industry good practice and internal DLG minimum standard requirements.

-Schedule, Plan, Test and Assure IT Services that support our most critical businesses processes and activities

-Compile and communicate Management Information to our key technology and business stakeholders on the results of recovery proving events and any remediation action required.

-Work with our colleagues in Risk Management as the 1st Line of Defence in assuring the resilience of critical IT Services

-Identify opportunities for continuously improving service resilience to drive cost and process efficiencies.

-As a member of the wider SI&O team; support operational priorities and assist other teams across the department where required. There may also be a requirement for business related travel.

Essential Skills

-Previous experience of working in a Disaster Recovery / Service Continuity / IT Resilience role - ideally within a -Corporate environment. (for example, Insurance, Financial Services, consultancy house or 3rd Party Outsourcer)

-Demonstrable experience in IT Disaster Recovery Testing / Assessment of IT Resilience

Strong stakeholder management and stakeholder influencing skills.

Desirable Skills

Experience of Project Management would be desirable.
