IT Service Reporting Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Service Reporting Analyst to join Direct Line Group, a market-leading insurer based in Bromley. We’re just 15 mins from Victoria!

Operating in a team of 2, you will support the Service Performance Manager as a member of the wider IT Service Management team; supporting operational priorities and assisting other teams across the department where required. There may also be the occasional need for business-related travel.

You will work within the Live Services function of Technology Services, with the opportunity to be part of a huge transformation project happening over the next two years with significant investments.

We’re looking for someone with IT industry experience, ITIL knowledge, great Excel/Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across teams to meet challenging deadlines.

Some key focuses will be;

Creating and publishing reports describing the performance of the IT organisation to the Head of Live Services and other senior stakeholder groups.

This can typically include:

-IT process-related data and metrics

-KPIs

-SLA performance

-Trend analysis

-Key risks, issues and highlights

-Collaborating with Process Leads to ensure adherence to data collection processes and to resolve exceptions.

-Contributing to the validation and analysis of data to identify and support service improvement activities.

-Promoting data capture and quality within our IT Service Management tool.

-Adhering to departmental deadlines, communications framework and standards.

Required Skills

-Previous experience of working in a specific IT Service Management Reporting role - suitable to a FTSE100 business.

-Experience of manipulating data, spreadsheets and dashboards.

-Exceptional experience of Excel, formulas, Pivot tables, V-Look-ups etc.

-Understanding of ITIL processes and Service Management within the IT industry.

This position may be suited for someone who has worked within the following roles: IT Project Management, IT Service Service Operations/Management, Reporting Analyst/Manager.
