Senior Project Manager - Technology Delivery

Senior Project Manager required to join the York Head Office of this digital media organisation. As a Senior Project Manager you will be in a customer facing role, dealing primarily with high profile media clients, delivering a range of technology lead projects.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience in working in an international, shared service environment, remote assignments, influencing ability / exception stakeholder management, people management and team development in order to ensure the successful end to end project delivery, within scope, timeline and budget.

As a Senior Project Manager you will…

*Plan and direct the overall project of work through driving a clear vision and goals

*Act as the go-to lead for the project team, customer and company management, and owning the requirements management process throughout the project

*Successful commercial delivery of projects, within budget and agreed timescales

*Effective management of issues and risks ensuring that options and solutions are validated and the impacts of decisions clearly articulated.

*Ensuring deliverables build to the appropriate quality

*Ensuring smooth handover of the project into the support phase

*Deep technical understanding including knowledge of AWS, cloud hosting and migrations

*Ability to lead and deliver AGILE / SCRUM projects

The successful Senior Project Manager…

*Project Management qualification or equivalent experience

*Working knowledge of design methods, models and techniques

*Awareness of business process modelling

*Experience of working on large scale projects

*Experience of leading project teams to success

*Confidence in leading presentations, and ability to present complex ideas to a non-technical audience
