PHP Developer
The Perinatal Institute is an award-winning organisation that provides clinical software solutions to over 100 hospital Trusts in the UK and maternity units in an increasing number of countries abroad.
Due to a number of high-profile projects we are growing our development team and are looking for enthusiastic Full Stack PHP Developers to take on further development of our Maternity systems.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an organisation that values its employees and promotes personal development.
Required Experience
3 years' client and server-side development experience
Proficiency in PHP
Good Understanding of JavaScript and JSON
CSS 3 & HTML 5
Microsoft SQL Server
Experience using version control and collaboration tools
Ability to troubleshoot issues
Desired Experience
Knowledge of npm, Bower and Composer
PHPUnit and Mockery
Domain driven design
Degree in Software Development or equivalent experience

Role Responsibilities:
Review current code
Develop new product features, fix bugs, and optimize code performance and quality
Communication with MiApp project team members to understand and further develop requirements
Understanding of how Information Governance requirements should be implemented to ensure security of data
Work with technical team to create development documentation and implement best
practice.
