My client, a small business with a worldwide reputation, is currently seeking a contract Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team for an initial period of 3 months, with potential to extend beyond this.

The successful applicant will have:

* Substantial experience in Product design and development

* Substantial experience working with plastic and composites including injection, blow and rotational moulding

* High proficiency in Solidworks CAD including surfacing, generating drawings and bills of materials.

* An understanding of material testing, 3D printing and Finite Element Analysis.

* Hands on engineering experience

* Recognised engineering qualification and apprentice training.
