Programme Manager - Data Technology, Business Change and Transition

We are actively looking to secure an experienced Programme Manager to join Experis.

Team Overview

As a Programme Manager, you will have direct responsibility and accountability for the delivery of multiple projects from inception through to the successful operational running of the agreed deliverable, either within one programme or multiple projects. The Programme Manager will need to deliver these to agreed time, cost and quality measure.

Role Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management of the Data Technology and Operations programme of work

* Ensure necessary governance and controls are in place to ensure successful delivery and ensure adherence to DTO project delivery framework. Identify and proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies

* Take direct accountability for stakeholder expectations, create and maintain high quality relationships with project stakeholders to ensure that all necessary resources and contributors are fully behind the delivery. Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels from stakeholders through to project team members.

* Lead the project team by example. Motivate the team and create a collaborate 'can do' environment

* Line management of Project Managers involving mentoring / training to maintain standards & address performance improvements where appropriate.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities

* Proven track record and demonstrable experience of working as a Programme Manager from managing multi stream projects or programmes from initiation through to full project acceptance

* Be comfortable translating strategic plans into a programme and ensuring the business are focused on the right priorities

* Experience in project planning processes and techniques. Skilled in at least one project management formal method (PMI, PRINCE), PMI certification desirable

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface at all levels. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

* Ability to think outside the box in order to generate innovative and different approaches to delivery.

* Strong people leadership skills

* Experience in the delivery of Insight & Decisioning Initiatives would be of benefit

* Understanding of IT architecture & Design
