Senior Modelling Manager

A Senior Modelling Manager is required to join a Tier 1 Bank for an IRB project involving changes to their IRB models, including their use in the calculation of regulatory capital to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities:

*

To fully own and lead the end-to-end model re-development of systems. Managing 10-15 members of staff - constructing data, building models, having statistical knowledge, taking models through internal governance.

* Build relationships with business stakeholders, communicating all analysis and business implications clearly and delivering required output to agreed plans and timescales.

Key Skills:

* Need 3-5 years' experience of leading model development, end to end. Good experience of managing delivery. Managing team with regards to engagement, driving, delivery. Really good experience of stakeholder engagement.

* Good knowledge of SAS - must-have. Experience of building these models in that system. Comprehensive excel/PowerPoint knowledge. Coding system knowledge would be beneficial.

* Need someone with Retail Banking and Retail IRB experience.
