Fibre Optic Engineer/Splicer

Work across the south west & Hampshire - Candidates can be located anywhere in those regions but Bristol and surrounding areas are most ideal

£14 - £18 per hour (Umbrella or LTD co)

3 month rolling contract - Ongoing long term work

Monday - Friday days based work

Are you an experience Telecoms/Fibre optic Engineer? Do you have experience of splicing and blowing Fibre Optic cabling?

My client are a leading telecoms infrastructure business, with national service providers. They are seeking Fibre Optic engineers for a field based role, in and around Bristol and the south west of England.

The successful candidate will have a current or previous BT openreach accreditation and experience in cable blowing, BFT installations, FTTH, FTTP, overhead pole work as well as various kind of installation of fibre and containment. They will also be a confident splicer.

On offer here is an immediately available long term contract role, with a leading telecoms business working with a number of national service providers and lots of long running contract work which could result in contract extension and other future opportunities.

The role:

*Fibre optic splicing and blowing

*Working with pole mounted breakouts

*Installation of fibre to the home

The person:

*Current or previous accreditation for the BT Openreach network

*Able to work in south west and Hampshire

*Previous experience of blowing and splicing Fibre Optic cabling
