Software Developer in Test / SDET (C#)

x2 Permanent position's based in Kings Cross - Salary up to 80k

My client, a major financial services organisation, is recruiting for a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) as they go through a period of rapid growth as a result of significant investment. They have been undergoing a significant transformation over the past 2 years and will continue on that trajectory for the foreseeable future in order to establish themselves as a leading market player.

One of the biggest challenges within any organisation is the ability to change quickly, efficiently and safely. The "Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)" role is one of the contributor to the key success of product changes and more insights of the role below: The SDET is the person responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining complex test automation using Agile automation techniques and tools.

Located in the technology hub of King Cross and based in offices that are market-leading, you will receive deep insight into the software development life-cycle along with freedom to complete your goals in your way. You will work alongside software development teams to providing recommendations and hands-on input across multiple portfolios on the development and implementation of testing automation processes, methods and tools.

Essential Criteria:

* C#, Selenium Webdriver, SpecFlow, NUnit, SOAP UI, Testing of RestFul API

* Jira, Confluence and Bamboo / Jenkins

* Continuous Integration (CI) for all type of automated tests (functional and non functional tests)

* Running performance tests

* Testing UI web technologies such as JavaScript and Angular a great added bonus

* Experience with automated testing in Agile / TDD development

* Good understanding of design, architecture patterns and development principles

* Good understanding of automation in a micro-services architecture

* Understanding of core front-end web technologies including HTML5/CSS, Javascript frameworks like AngularJS, Bootstrap

* Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture principles

* Deep experience implementing complex test automation using Agile automation techniques and tools

* Ability to lead a small test team
