Communications Manager (Business Change)

We are actively looking to secure a Communications Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Role purpose:

The Programme is transforming the way our client delivers IT services. It is an ambitious change that will require their teams of people to think and act differently. Reporting to the IT Transformation Campaign Lead (Communications), this role will create and deliver communications that engage people in the transformation, winning their hearts and minds.

Key accountabilities:

* Producing content for a variety of internal audiences, with a particular focus on IT and the wider Technology, Services and Operations (TSO) team.

* Producing content for various channels including news stories, blog posts, enews, presentations, video, social media, emails, talking points, briefing packs etc.

* Following the agreed communications schedule and providing insight to evolve the plan as required.

* Managing the production of content to agreed timelines including sourcing information, writing/production, review, sign off and delivery.

* Aligning communications with the appropriate style guide and organisational strategy.

* Managing events including creating and issuing invites, managing attendance lists, creating content and managing logistics.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

* Experience of designing and managing communications relating to Business Change

* Communications experience, preferably at the communications officer level, with a passion for producing content.

* A strong writer with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.

* Able to translate complex topics into simple and meaningful messages.

* Understands, can apply and produce a wide range of communications media including digital, face to face, written and video.

* Creative and ideally visual design skills (eg ability to produce and edit video, creating engaging presentations and info graphics).

* Comfortable with working in a busy, project environment with evolving priorities and competing stakeholders.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

* Demonstrated experience in producing and delivering communications that achieve a strategic goal.
