Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Developer for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £350-380/day (outside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Design and implementation of extraction of data from production systems, into Data Warehouse.

* Design and build of analysis cubes.

* Development of Power BI reports based on user requirements.

* Design of environment within O365/Power BI Premium.

Requirements:

* In depth experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence stack; SQL Server, Reporting Services, Integration Services, Analysis Services.

* Experience in development of Microsoft Power BI reports, dashboards and apps.

* Experience in the design and operation of a Data Warehouse database Analysis Cubes.

* Experience in gathering, analysing, designing and delivering requirements for reports from stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

* Experience of Microsoft Power BI Premium environment, combined with O365.

* Experience of development within Microsoft Azure.

* Experience of working to Scrum/Agile methodology
