Contract Front End Developer required, Glasgow

Supporting an innovative and expanding client with offices in south Glasgow, we are looking for a Front End Developer for an important re-development programme.

The project will last for a minimum of 6 months, we have telephone interview slots available at short notice we need a candidate to start by early November.

Skills sought:

* Minimum 5 years of front end web development

* Detailed knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, Express.js, Node.js, React)

* Excellent CSS and HTML skills

* Experience of setting web design and development standards (eg accessibility, security, responsive design)

* Experience of designing large scale web solutions, microservices and service oriented architectures

* Strong communication skills

* Mentoring and knowledge sharing with others

Desirable Experience:

* Experience of working with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)

* Exposure to wider AWS technologies (e.g. API Gateway, Lambda, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy)

* Experience of creating enterprise-grade Java applications

* Experience of working with web service technologies
