Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Old Trafford, Manchester

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience + Benefits + Bonus

Job type: Permanent, Full time

Created in 1961 the Company is a successful and well established major UK manufacturer, supplier and servicer of medical equipment to Hospitals and Ambulance Services throughout the UK and over 60 countries worldwide. They are looking for someone who wants a secure career in a growing company.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate must possess experience for the following:

* Previous experience with ISO 13485 Medical Standard is essential

* Previous experience with ISO 9001 Quality management Standard is essential

* Mature outlook and used to a fast moving environment

* Regulatory Requirements & Quality Audits

* Creating/amending managing product technical files

* Managing device directives

* Managing device regulations

* Interpreting/Implementing BS EN ISO standards

* Standards in general and product specification testing

* Risk management

* Creating and managing S O Ps

* Creating and managing Product dossiers

* Validation

* Conversant with MS Office programs

* Good communication skills

* Complaint handling

* Team player

While not essential some experience of health and safety would be desirable.

You will also need a degree from higher education in the respective field and 5 years of documented professional experience; or 10 years of documented professional experience.

Benefits:

* Working Week: 37,5 Hrs

* Daily times: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm Friday 8:30am to 3:45pm

* Holidays: 23 Days (plus bank holidays)

* Bonus Scheme: Based on achieving monthly targets

* Pension Scheme: Auto enrolment to company pension scheme. (opt out option if required)

* Death in service: After 12 month's continuous service entitled to a year's salary to nominee
