Are you looking for a new contract? A major consultancy firm in the UK are looking for a Backbase Developer to join them on an initial 3 month contract.

* Role: Backbase Developer

* Contract: 3 months + extensions

* Location: London

* Pay: £500+

Roles & Responsibilities

* Translate designs and requirements into high quality code

* Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code.

* Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

Required Skills

* Should have Backbase Back-end development experience.

* Strong working knowledge of Java and J2EE based web development.

* Strong experience/knowledge of the REST Web services.

* Strong proficiency of using Maven / Jenkins / Git / Jira / Confluence

* Strong working knowledge of Unit Testing and Automated Integration testing

* Good knowledge of building, packaging and deploying code for continuous integration

* Working knowledge of HTML5, Angular, CSS, and Java script would be beneficial.

* Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

* Working knowledge of the general J2EE landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

* Strong understanding of the full software development life cycle using Agile methodologies.

* Required skills: Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Java, J2EE, Apache Camel, JBoss.

* REST Web Services, Test Driven Development, Maven

* Preferred skills: Automation Testing, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
