The University is thriving and we now seek an experienced SQL Server Developer / Support Analyst of the highest calibre to take our business systems forward. This is a hybrid role encompassing SQL Server development and maintenance and, of equal importance, technically supporting the University’s key business system including Finance, Student Records (SITS), HR and Marketing.

You will have strong SQL Server experience especially with 2012/2016, the key areas are T-SQL including complex stored procedures, function and triggers, SSRS and SSIS. Your technical trouble-shooting skills will be second to none and you will have experience of supporting a wide-range of systems. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to high quality customer care and service continuity.

You will have excellent communication skills and a good commercial business understanding. Experience as a DBA would be an advantage.

This role comes with a competitive salary and an excellent pension scheme to which the University currently contributes an additional 19.5%.
