Incremental Group is a high growth digital technology business based in various locations around the UK. We are looking for a Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
Overview of the role
The Web Developer will be responsible for translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Responsibilities will include:
» Developing new user-facing features
» Building reusable code and libraries for future use
» Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
» Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
» Ensure all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
» Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
What you bring to Incremental Group
You will have a proficient understanding of:
» Web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3 and their best practises
» Cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness issues and ways to work around them.
You will have good understanding of:
» Frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, Bootstrap, ReactJS
» Asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX
» SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.
You will have a basic understanding of:
» Code versioning tools, such as Git
» Server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
Not essential but highly desirable technical skills include:
» Microsoft Portal (or Adxstudio development)
» ASP.NET web development.
