QA Engineer
Quality Assurance, C#, Java, Selenium Web Driver, TDD, BDD, OOP
£40,000 - £55,000 per annum plus benefits, Central London
The Company
My client is a leading global ecommerce company specialising in online entertainment.
The Role
My client is looking for expert knowledge in the QA Testing space working across several complex environments. You will be joining a team full of technical experts specialising in architectural and structural testing as well as proficient coding behind applications.
Your main responsibilities will be:
'€¢Involvement in user story definition process.
'€¢Writing upfront testing scenarios.
'€¢QA perspective to planning sessions..
'€¢Assisting with resolution and reproduction of software problems.
'€¢Creation of automated tests with sprints.
'€¢Working with ATDD framework and defining items using BDD.
'€¢Ensuring bugs are treated with up most importance limiting the live duration.
Essential Skills
'€¢Demonstrable experience building Test Automation Frameworks from scratch.
'€¢Full understanding of testing web and mobile applications.
'€¢Commercial experience in Agile and Scrum methodology.
'€¢Effective use of BDD.
'€¢Proficient experience with C# / Java.
'€¢Proficient experience with Selenium Webdriver.
Desirables
'€¢Specialist software testing skills.
'€¢Visual Studio experience.
'€¢Knowledge of structured software testing.
'€¢Familiarity with the fundamentals of software development.
'€¢Responsibility and ownership for assigned tasks.
'€¢Excellent attention to detail.
