The company is a global partner for Class I, II and III medical device manufacturers, and are working on an exciting new product. The new product is being built, using the latest technologies. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to join a very successful medical device company, and work alongside an excellent engineering team.

Your role as a manufacturing engineer will be to maximise the performance of manufacturing processes by providing high impact operational support.

Role: Manufacturing Engineer

Contract: An initial 6 month hourly rate contract - possibility to extend

Location: Galway

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and approve procedures, and generate and approve change requests.

* Prepare and review Master Validation Plans and FMEA's.

* Assessment of manufacturing processes and non - conformance.

* Ensure all products and processes are developed in compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Implement appropriate process control on to manufacturing processes for robust and repeatable commercial product manufacturing.

* Ensure that all Engineering wok and designs are carried out to appropriate GMP, QA / Regulatory Authority standards.

* Support the development of new processes in conjunction with manufacturing / R&D Engineering, ensuring that new processes are stable and capable.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in supervising / leading a team to meet project deadlines.

* Minimum of 5 years experience within a manufacturing / quality engineering role within the medical device industry.

* Lean Six Sigma or Black Belt experience.

* Degree in Engineering discipline.

* Demonstrated Validation Experience
