DevOps Engineer - West Manchester - Ecommerce Company - 12 Month Contract - up to £400 per day - Immediate start

My client a leading ecommerce company based just West of Manchester, are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to come in and have a key focus on automation in addition to working closely with the Software Development & QA teams to contribute to the design and development of an efficient Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipeline to deliver our applications in both cloud and physical environments.

Essential skills

* Experience with configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Chef

* Hands-on experience of writing code, specifically with C# (.NET), ASP.NET, T-SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

* Proficient in writing PowerShell scripts

* Experience with Azure

* Demonstrable experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, and Configuration Management
