The opportunity:

My client are a medical device contract manufacturing organisation located in West Dublin. They serve a number of leading medical device and pharmaceutical clients, as a global leader in solutions for injectable drug administration. Their productions include an expanding range of injectable products, and are also building a new pharmaceutical component manufacturing facility.

They have ambitious growth plans over the next few years and will continue their expansion by recruiting further talent to their teams.

Your profile:

You're a quality professional with 3+ years' experience in the healthcare (medical device / pharma / diagnostics) industry. You have strong working knowledge of current regulatory standards in a medical device / ISO 13485 / related industry. You also have completed a Science / Engineering / similar Bachelor's degree - level 8.

A Quality Engineer employed here will be working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. The role:

Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer within Operations, you will ensure conformity of internal system compliance and customer specifications. You will ensure the timely and effective closure of internal/external quality issues. Some of the general responsibilities are as follows:

* You will be interfacing on an ongoing basis with customers to ensure requirements are communicated and CAPA's are closed

* You will be drafting and approving of quality documentation to meet company and customer requirements

* You will trend and track of quality data to support quality improvements

* You will lead investigations into material / product issues to ensure a thorough root cause, containment / CAPA is implemented.

* You will participate in the review of validation protocols and reports to ensure quality compliance.

* You will be executing internal process and system audits.

* You will manage quality projects in support of continuous improvement e.g. Lean Projects.

* You will coach and drive a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
