Retail Systems Manager - Travel

A well renowned company within the Travel Sector are working with Computer Futures to find a Retail Systems Manager on a permanent basis.

The organisation are based in Central London and have very reliable transport links from the main London Terminals.

Key responsibilities:

* Daily management of the client's systems suppliers ensuring that consistent service reviews are completed and inadequate supplier performance is challenged and monitored.

* Lead on checking of suppliers invoices to ensure the business is receiving value for money from the individual contracts and that any changes raised are in line with contract agreements and deliverables.

* Delivering effective daily budget control is maintained thereby minimising costs to the business. This will also include identifying potential cost savings through supplier's failure to meet contractual obligations.

* Contracts management, which will deal with any change requests in a timely manner ensuring that any additional charges or costs to the business are in line with budgetary constraints and are signed off appropriately.

* Working with the Retail Systems Test team to make sure all changes are tested successfully and any anomalies or issues are flagged and sorted before release in live.

Experience required:

* Working experience of being within an IT systems environment.

* Strong experience of negotiating and managing vendors/suppliers.

* Strong experience of contracts management.

* Experience of supporting large scale, complex operational and retail systems.

* Exposure to structured incident and problem management support processes.
