Experis are recruiting on behalf of our Client a leading Engineering Support Services organisation for an HR Professional with experience in delivering of projects and supporting the development of organisational and people capability to join their team in Fareham to work closely with the Head of HR.

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows -

* Report to and provide support to the Head of HR, in Business & People Strategy implementation to embed key capability and resourcing requirements

* Champion and support Head of HR in building organisational and people capability

* Develop plans for longer term resource, workforce skills capability and talent management

* Uses business insights to drive change in people management practices, identifying solutions and improvement measures to address specific challenges and risks

* Gathers and shares management information in support of business decision making

* Influences and engages in change programmes to drive business improvement

* Ensures talent management, succession and resourcing plans are regularly reviewed, and have resilience and capability to address risk and business change

* Present business insights to identify and drive change by analysing employee trends, cultural behaviour and employee engagement, and sharing leading & lagging indicators with senior management team

* Consult with line managers, identifying performance development needs, change management risks, systematic or root cause issues and areas for focus

* Facilitate and enable the provision of appropriate development interventions, or projects, liaising with stakeholders to identify key requirements and outcomes

* Produce project outline plans, identifying key stakeholders, costs, risks and benefits

The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience -

* Demonstrable experience in above key accountabilities

* Proven track record in delivery of HR Projects and successful outcomes

* Ability to build relationships and work in partnership with leaders to link business objectives to agreed HR deliverables

* Effective influencer and communicator with ability to challenge constructively

* Educated to CIPD, degree level or equivalent experience within HR

* Experience of providing strategic and operational HR advice and guidance to management

* Role model and advocate - adaptive to changing business needs

* Competent with MS Excel Data, Graphs & Charts

* Full UK Drivers Licence
