We currently have an opportunity for a Data Analyst to join the team in our Supply Chain function. Working on a range of exciting design, manufacture and support projects, the team works with a number of key clients domestically and internationally. We're based at a number of sites in the UK and overseas. The business continues to win new work and grow at a significant pace, as a result we are recruiting for talented, enthusiastic and driven people.

Responsibilities

* Collect and sanitise data that underpins the integrity of the Planning function, and liaise with the appropriate personnel to ensure its validity.

* Proactively seek to improve the quality of data received form a number of different systems, ensuring Demand and Supply planners are forecasting based on accurate data

* Maintain and develop local data warehouse to enable accurate and details analysis to be distributed to Planning and Performance team personnel.

* Work with the relevant teams to enhance performance measurements and provide deep dive analysis using relevant analytical tools.

* Develop and improve existing analysis tools for future dashboard development.

Key Skills

* Understanding of SQL

* Educated to degree level or equivalent

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Numerate and able to communicate well at all levels, both verbally and through formal written correspondence.

* Good IT skills and knowledge

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, as well as other corporate IT systems and tools as required.

* Knowledge of MoD systems (CRISP especially) highly beneficial, but not essential

* Strong attention to detail

* Relevant experience of:

* Business and equipment analysis

* Analysing large sets of data

* ERP systems

* Data cleansing
