Role Objectives

Working closely with the Head of marketing, Head of Digital, Data Team, Web Team, Social Team, Digital Solutions, the Planning team and the wider marketing team, you will take ownership of a busy UK wide email marketing programme and the management of lead generation programme.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Customer and segmentation owner. You will work closely with Head of marketing, Head of Digital, Data Manager, & group functions to build the strategy and infrastructure for all customer segments/workflows. This will include working with the integration project team (IT - OT/Salesplanner) and will evolve beyond email campaigns (social media/advertising). This will also give you exposure into other projects such as a Chatbot pilot. You will also be looking at how all of these 3rd parties system integrates and effect the customer journeys.

* Workflow programme build owner. You will be responsible for the management of the workflow matrix (across all channels). Ensuring all user journeys are performing against key KPIs, segments are appropriate and all triggers/conversions are operating as intended. You will bring a holistic strategic vision to the build plan but run a test & learn programme for all use cases, phasing in different programmes based on performance, commercial viability and IT requirements.

* Email analytics & insights lead. You will be responsible for the long-term email analytics and optimisation programme, which will include testing programme (A/B etc), technical requirements, and overall email channel performance.

* BAU and campaign deployment. You will be responsible for successful delivery and administration of Hays email programs, which also includes Engage program management. Your BAU responsibilities also include ongoing team support as required i.e. holiday cover as per general team require.

Essential:

* Experience of directly managing, mentoring and coaching junior team member(s)

* Solid experience in delivering email marketing campaigns to support a complex corporate environment

* Targeting, segmentation and campaign optimisation / analysis

* A working knowledge of HTML is required along with an understanding of the principles of responsive design

* Experience of marketing automation tools is required

Desirable:

* Degree educated or business equivalent with specific marketing qualifications

* IT literate in core MS Office packages

* Knowledge/experience of recruitment advertising and job boards

* Knowledge/experience of using systems Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Logic Melon, Dotmailer, CSS and Dreamweaver

* Experience of integrating email marketing with SEO activity and other on and offline communications
