I am recruiting an experienced Maintenance Planning Facilitator to work for a FTSE 250, global engineering support services organisation at HMNB Clyde. This role functions within their Marine Division, which provides vital engineering services to key clients, such as the Royal Navy.
The Maintenance Planning Facilitator will be responsible for recommending and delivering efficiency improvement initiatives for the PPM campaign at HMNB Clyde. Including stakeholder/customer engagement and influencing other business units.
Key Accountabilities:
* Assist the Planning Manager in maximising the utilisation and the efficiency of all the section's resource.
* Coach and facilitate individuals and groups in the use of business improvement tools and techniques to enable the consistent delivery of change at all levels in the organisation.
* Facilitate group workshops in the pursuit of planning improvements within the Fleet Operations Departments, ensuring that robust governance arrangements are in place for project management and control.
* Deliver presentations as required to ensure progress and quality is pro-actively delivered, providing data collection, data analysis and business support to management.
* Conduct assessments to drive quality and standardisation of implementation, identifying conflicts, issues and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's cost, time and quality requirements.
Ideal Requirements:
* HNC or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline.
* Proven experience in an engineering environment with a focus on improvement initiatives.
* Understanding of Microsoft Project or P6 is desirable.
* Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements.
