My Government client require Service Desk Analysts with Office 365 skills to work on their OCC teams. With 22000 global users the predicted call volumes necessitate that 4 analyst are required.

This will ensure that the team are able to meet that demand and not negatively impact their other customer base.

The Service Operations team within ICT Operations performs a pivotal role in the successful delivery of front line IT services to their main end customer and Wider Market Business Service Customers.

This is a shift based role that will involve working within the Operational Control Centre (OCC) on a rotating shift pattern (24x7x365).

The role requires a self-motivated team player with strong communication and Customer service skills and the ability to disseminate information and knowledge whilst putting into practice the advice and instructions provided to them. The Analyst will be a resourceful and innovative personality who enjoys working within a busy and challenging ICT environment.

The role is required to provide technical support for various ICT systems and services, acting as the point of contact for Incidents and Service Requests raised by our Business Service Business Service Customers via the Service Operations Service Desk function.

Essential:

**The jobholder will need to be flexible, adaptable and willing to work where needed to meet Customer demands and thereby gain a broader skill set and wider business perspective.

*Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

*BTEC qualification or equivalent in IT related subject

*Good personal planning and organisational skills (attention to detail).

*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office365, 365 Azure AD, AD FS.

*Working understanding of Microsoft O/S and applications, including but not limited to Windows Server 2008, Exchange 2003/2007, SQL 2008, plus general networking technologies.

*Working knowledge of remote working technologies such as MSTSC, MSRA and iLO.

*An understanding of Central Government and OGD systems and HM Government security regulations.

Desirable:

*ITIL Foundation Certificate, preferably ITIL V3.

*Previous experience of working within the Service Desk, Incident and Request Fulfilment process disciplines.

*SQL database knowledge

*Knowledge of IT Service Management toolsets i.e. HP OVSD and HP Service Manager (SM9).

*Familiarity with applications such as CRM & Webmethods.
