Infrastructure Architect - SC CLEARED

The Infrastructure Architect manages a small/medium design team and they are a competent designer and design authority across infrastructure technology projects.

* Able to demonstrate an understanding of the customers' business and commercial issues.

* Identify, design and deliver larger or more complex architectures, strategies and specific solutions, and give stakeholders advice.

* They can be responsible for complex projects which may involve solutions which require an element of integration migration, creation of innovative solutions and management of risk.

* Technical lead on projects typically from £0 - £5m

* Manages technical teams of up to 5 people and may lead the team.

Keys Skills

* Good skills across key legacy and current infrastructure technologies (Windows, Unix, networks, SAN, Azure, AWS)

* Able to write and communicate on proposals at an architectural level.

* Able to present solutions to clients.

* Able to produce architectural artefacts

* Able to review technical designs to ensure that the requirements are met.

* Ability to share knowledge at an architect level.

* Able to identify, assess and mitigate technical and non-technical issues and risks

* Able to capture costs of solutions accurately

Preferable

* Experienced in secure projects
