We are currently recruiting a P&PM Manager for London based client. My client is a well-established, innovative leading IT organisation who have clear strategy and plan in place to further grow and substantially increase revenue over the next 3 years. In this role you will be responsible for managing, shaping and moulding a highly successful team of Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Programme managers. My client is looking for experienced and ambitious individuals who are passionate about the quality of work delivered and really care about what they do.

Responsibilities include:

· Accountable for the current and future commercial success of their team

· Effective management and forecasting of billable and productive utilisation of their team

· Continually ensuring colleagues are deployed on the most relevant work for their skill set, aspirations and location and that set individual, team and departmental KPI targets are met or exceeded.

· In conjunction with other Managers, proactively works to reduce third party spend to maximise profit by continuously analysing utilisation, skills, co-worker numbers and pipeline forecasts for their team to make sure an appropriate number of suitably trained and prepared internal workers are available for client work.

· In conjunction with Opportunities, Sales, BDMs and Solution Architects builds, tracks, maintains and reports on an engagement pipeline containing at least three to six months work for their team and uses this information to ensure their teams skill sets are relevant or are made relevant, and/or to carry out recruitment / resourcing as needed, to meet anticipated demand.

· Develops, retains, attracts and actively encourages dedicated, highly motivated and highly skilled talent and works proactively to strike an agreed balance between internal, contract and partner resources.

· Prepares PMP and training/development plan documentation once a year with regular reviews for all co-workers, where reviews consist of measurement against set objectives, highlighting training, shadowing and accreditation needs and a discussion about career aspirations and development.

· Develops and regularly maintains skills matrices, training plans, career aspirations and succession plans for all coworkers.

· In conjunction with other departmental Managers and Vendor Managers, owns and champions vendor relationships ensuring minimum levels of vendor accreditations are maintained, and minimum spends are achieved, to allow the business to obtain agreed levels of rebates.

· Acts as a mentor and general escalation point for all work carried out by their team seeking out mentoring, shadowing, training to support co-workers where needed.



Skills & Experience

· Holds, maintains and continues to develop an appropriate level of technical delivery and project methodology awareness.

· Prior experience being involved in delivering complex projects, training, vendor relationships, industry awareness and attendance / participation in trade/vendor events.

· Is able to continually demonstrate exceptional skills in team and budget management, organisation, reporting of business metrics, governance, delivery of excellence and all types of communication

· Proven track record in revenue growth and talent growth of a professional services team.

· Extensive commercial awareness, able to protect the business interests in all aspects of services delivery.

· Experience working in an IT Services organisation

· Ability to continually demonstrate delivery of quality and consistency whilst delivering excellence and at the same time continuing to strive for improvement.

· Ability to continually demonstrate comprehensive, relevant, management experience

· Ability to balance enhancing the business bran brand whilst ensuring that the requirements of their team are met.
