Embedded Software Manager /Director

Oxford

Super new opportunity with global company based in Oxford for an Embedded Software Manager / Director.

The successful manager will be responsible for a team of Firmware Engineers and will be providing leadership, team management, technical expertise and project management skills.

Although this is a hands off role applicants will have risen through the ranks as am Embedded Software Engineer and have solid technical knowledge of embedded architecture and embedded development. You will currently be in a team management/leadership role with excellent project /programme management skills. The project management element of this role is very important and candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead projects ensuring effective project delivery in line with plans .

Applicants will have very strong initiative and ability to cope with high levels of uncertainty and risks (implementation and timescales). High level of responsibility and ownership are expected and you must have excellent communication, providing high quality technical knowledge with strong innovation skills.
