QA Lead (Automation Testing Implementation)

We are actively looking to secure a QA Lead to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Project Description

In line with the integration test strategy and the wider QA strategy there is a need to implement structure automated testing and approaches Platform projects. In addition to this there is the need to correctly facilitate the implementation of an integration testing team to assist projects in consuming and interacting with the Platform components.

At an abstract level the technology stack is focussed upon API interaction, Microsoft Dynamics and Dell Boomi.

Quality Assurance personnel will need to have experience in automated testing implementation utilising JMeter, SoapUI, Selenium and associated automated Testing Constructs across multiple environments.

What you will be doing

* You are responsible for the oversight, direction, reporting and execution of testing within the named projects.

* Ensuring the team's software is designed correctly and continuously tested throughout the development lifecycle

* Driving quality deliverables through automation including tools, process, measurement, environment and data

* Contributing to the elaboration of user stories in order to achieve viable, testable products with clearly defined acceptance criteria

* Identifying opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques as part of a focus on continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

You will be expected to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

* Have previously implemented automated frameworks and approaches in line with the tools specified for the programme. Namely:

* SoapUI

* Selenium

* JMeter

* Solid experience of working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban etc)

* Collaborative skills

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Excellent understanding of non-functional requirements, test analysis, software engineering principles and continuous improvement methods

* Understanding scope and limitations of different test types
