Field Service Engineer

£24,000 - £29,000 + Progression + Overtime + Training + Holiday + Pension + Van

Excellent opportunity for an engineer with mechanical and electrical skills to join growing company offering good levels of training, excellent amounts of overtime and direct progression opportunities.

In this role you will manage an area and travel to customer sites to repair, service and test industrial motors for a variety of products. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble geared and electrical motors. You will carry out tests to ensure they're in full working order.

The ideal candidate will possess both mechanical and electrical skills. They will hold an NVQ level 3 in either mechanical or electrical engineering or be apprentice trained in one of the disciplines. If mechanically biased, must possess basic electrical fault finding skills. If electrically biased, must possess basic mechanical assembly skills.

The role:

*Field Based

*Monday to Friday (Days)

*Disassembling, servicing, repairing, assembling geared and electrical motors

*Plenty of overtime

The Person:

*Have both electric and mechanical skills

*NVQ level 3 or apprentice trained in a mechanical or electrical discipline

*Be able to read technical drawings and documents

*Able to electrically fault find
