Project Delivery Manager

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit a Project Delivery Manager for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£300-350/day (inside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* User research methods to analyse feedback from staff on upgrade

* Project closure activities including benefits review plan

* Team Manager duties to ensure all remaining Windows 7 units upgraded or de-activated

* Update product Catalogue based upon active install

* Review Feature Release build comment for 1803 et seq. and deploy test with selected users

* Review outstanding issues

* Document any follow on actions

* Lessons Log and Report creation

Requirements:

* Project Delivery background

* Experience of managing project issues and risks

* Good communication and graphic design skills

* Broad understanding of IT concepts and practice

* Experience with product/work breakdown structures, baselining, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis, conflict resolution, planning tools, quality management techniques, risk & issue management methods

Desirable Skills:

* Public sector experience

* Project Management or Delivery methodology qualification or background in a Windows 10 upgrade project

* Experience of Desktop Operating System Upgrade Project
