Project Manager required to join a technology company working on a project for a public sector client. The role will be based in Taunton on an initial 6 months contract

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a successful migration of IT systems and services to a live state in the new datacentre infrastructure. Working with delivery teams responsible for migrating services and systems from different parts of the business. This will include leading activities relating to dependency mapping, data migration planning, management of risks and issues and co-ordination of change activities.

You will have a mix of working in both a waterfall and agile environment and have a background in the delivery of large scale IT services migration projects.

Knowledge and Skills

* Experience of establishing a project approach and organisation necessary to deliver.

* Experience of managing project lifecycle from idea to closure.

* Experience of governance and assurance.

* Experience of engaging senior stakeholders.

* Experience of maintaining strong working relationships with project team members, business side resource and third party suppliers.

* Prince2 Foundation
