Project Manager - Finance background or Telecommunications, Pay Pal / AMEX

Location: Osterley, West London

We are actively looking to secure an experienced Project Manager to join Experis.

Team Overview

The Change Delivery Team is responsible for planning and managing the delivery of all significant changes across the organisation; ensuring the business, technical and operational readiness aspects of projects are considered, planned and delivered. The team consists of Project Managers, Business Analysts and a PMO function. It has the following key responsibilities:

* Ensuring the team delivers projects 'at pace' in a predictable and transparent manner

* Providing a single view of all change activities that's reliable and trusted

* Establishing the necessary governance and controls to ensure the change roadmap is always aligned with the client's strategy and objectives, and there aren't any surprises

* Continually optimising our Change Delivery Framework - the way we deliver our projects and programmes

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for shaping and coordinating the delivery of one or more projects/programmes, working closely with all areas of the organisation. You will have the following specific responsibilities:

* Delivering projects to time and to budget

* Working closely with Product Owners and Sponsors/Business Owners to ensure the required outcomes are achieved

* Identifying stakeholders and ensuring their interests/needs are understood and met

* Establishing/shaping projects and defining workstream responsibilities

* Defining and managing project delivery plans and dependencies across multiple development teams and any external suppliers

* Defining and managing project budgets and resource plans

* Managing issues and risks

* Establishing effective project governance

* Producing accurate and timely status reports

Essential Skills and Experience

* Project management methods and techniques (e.g. stakeholder management, planning and dependency management, issue and risk management, budget and resource management etc)

* Ability to shape and coordinate the delivery of several projects/programmes, working closely with all areas of the organisation

* Agile and Waterfall, Prince 2 or an equivalent delivery methodology

* Experience working on multiple projects concurrently within a large organisation

* Ideally have worked within Finance or Telecommunications

* Any experience with Pay Pal / AMEX would be desirable
