Senior Web Developer opportunity to join a fast growing company designing and building web applications using the latest technology.

Based in Portsmouth, we are looking for a Web Developer to join our development team working on our innovative suite of web applications.

Responsibilities will include:

* Designing and implementing new functionality

* Maintaining the existing code base

* Troubleshooting technical issues, understanding defects and developing appropriate corrections utilising proper coding techniques

* Proactively learning and using new technologies, concepts and procedures as appropriate to project requirements

* Providing suggestions in regards to product development to assist the end user in improving overall service to customers

* Liaising directly with clients to discuss both technical and non-technical aspects of new and existing functionality

* Working alongside our testing and QA team to produce products of the highest quality

* Providing on-going production support as needed

Requirements:

* 5+ years proven development experience, using ASP.Net, C# and SQL Server, within a commercial agile environment

* Comfortable using JavaScript for building interactive user interfaces

* Experience building AJAX enabled front-ends

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Good at liaising with both technical and non-technical staff within the client environment

* A high level of attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

* To be able to multi-task within a fast-paced development environment

* Experience of working with Microsoft Team Foundation Server

* Experience in building WCF web services

* Experience in developing web applications using ASP.Net MVC

* Experience using JQuery

* Experience in complex CSS, including the Bootstrap framework and LESS/SASS

* Keen to learn new technologies
