Quality engineer

£35'000 + Pension + holidays

Do you have experience in a quality role and have knowledge of 8D, PDCA, Poka Yoke and six sigma?

Are you looking for a role in a leading manufacturer that will offer training, career progression and variety?

In this role you will provide support for the value stream with regards to containment and management of supplier related issues in terms if PPM, non-conformities and finical claims.

Due to the excellent training provided as long as you have experience with in quality role and have knowledge of quality improvement techniques such as 8D, PDCA, Poka Yoke and six sigma any background will be considered.

The role:

*Ensure accurate and timely reporting of supplier PPM data highlighting improvement opportunities.

*Minimise impact of supplier returns.

*Audit in agreed time intervals inventor of supplier returns.

*Follow up and close 8D reports of supplier quality alerts.

The person-

*Ideally have a background in engineering or manufacturing but candidates from outside those industries will be considered due to the training on offer.

*Have a good appreciation of quality tools such as:- 8D, PDCA, Poka Yoke and an understanding of six sigma would be an advantage.
