IT Support Analyst

£23k to £28k base + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated IT Support Analyst to join this award-winning ethical retailer (a natural & organic health & beauty brand with over 300 stores across the UK and overseas). As IT Support Analyst you will provide first and second line technical support to end users on technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software and peripherals. Our client is on a digital transformation journey, embedding a digital culture and customer first approach across people, process and technology. This role will gain exposure to the latest Microsoft "cloud" technologies (Office365 & Dynamics365), collaboration tools and digital platforms across omni-channel Retail estate. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join the team at this exciting time.

Based at an award-winning eco factory in Gillingham, Dorset, head office, the IT Support Assistant role will involve:

*Providing exceptional customer service in person, via phone and email as appropriate

*Resolving service desk issues including troubleshooting hardware and software issues

*Performing user administration duties

*First point of contact for IT support issues

*Break/fix support for MS Windows PC's and MS Office applications

*Installation of PC's, monitors, network printers and associated IT equipment, Microsoft software and other 3rd party applications

*Liaising with 3rd party IT Service Desk and manage calls they are resolving, and with 3rd party support companies to resolve system issues

Skills needed:

*Experience of Remote Desktop support and working in an end-user desktop support role

*Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016, Windows 10, Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory and Exchange

*Knowledge of printer / peripheral device troubleshooting

*Some understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP

*Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud, MacOS/iOS and ITIL Foundation is desirable

*Experience of IT Security, Group Policy and Patch Management

*Experience of remote support for handheld smartphones and tablets

*Have excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations

*Ability to work independently, share information and assist others
