Technical Support Engineer - £45,000 - Dalgety Bay

Spring Technology's client based in Dalgety Bay, Fife are looking for a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer with good knowledge & experience with IP Networking.

This will be a permanent role and the annual salary will be paying £45,000 (plus excellent holiday & benefits).

Key Responsibilities -

- Providing email/telephone support to external partners

- Assisting the sales team & solutions consultants with pre-sales technical enquiries

- Troubleshooting problems/answering questions related to Digital video & Broadcast TV, IP networking & IP Multicast, Integration with 3rd party products.

- Assisting partners and application developers to integrate with internal products using published APIs.

- Writing knowledgebase articles to share information both internally and externally

Technical Criteria -

- IP Networking experience and/or good knowledge relating to Audio/Video or Broadcast products

- Knowledge of Shell Scripting or Web/Software development (desirable)
