Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation in Galashiels, are currently looking to recruit a Digital Programme Manager for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£500-600/day (outside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop the Business Evolution team.

* Recognise, secure and implement appropriate future business expansion opportunities for the Agency.

* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of services for our current and future customers.

* Lead and develop IT and Digital service delivery.

* Ensure continuity and disaster recovery plans are maintained and tested regularly.

* Deliver reliable and secure IT applications that are fit for purpose.

* Develop the organisation's Digital capability in line with business direction.

* Deliver the organisation's Programme of Projects and Management of Change.

* Support and embed process improvement culture and techniques.

* Co-ordinate change working with internal colleagues to meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements:

* Demonstrable delivery of successful major change projects in complex organisations.

* Demonstrable success in developing and implementing a continuous improvement culture.

* Significant experience of leadership in ICT, digital and business transformation with a successful business or public sector organisation.

* Proven experience of managing the development and deployment of web applications.

* Strong influencing leadership and motivational skills to network effectively and develop relationships with internal stakeholders.

* Effectively deliver challenging objectives within agreed timescales.

* Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills.

* Excellent written and oral communications including communicating complex and varied information to a range of audiences.
