I am recruiting for the UK's leading engineering support services organisation and market leader in providing through life engineering to the defence, marine and nuclear industries. They are trusted worldwide for their expertise and proven track record in supporting complex engineering projects.
We are currently looking to recruit an accomplished Nuclear Licencing and Policy Manager to undertake a key role on a high profile and critical project.
The UK is currently building its next generation of submarines and as such we need to ensure we have the supporting infrastructure to enable their through lifer maintenance. As such, we are about to start a £750m redevelopment project and require a nuclear licencing and safety policy manager to support facility licencing and authorisation plans.
Responsibilities
* Development and Management of Nuclear Facility Licensing / Authorisation Plans
* Provision of technical advice on nuclear safety assessment methods and policy
* Management of interfaces with DRDL Nuclease Safety Assurance process
* Support consistent implement Babcock/DRDL Nuclear Safety Processes
* Contribute to development of Nuclear Safety Processes & Standards
* Manage ONR, DNSR & EA interface
* Work with other Safety Managers, Chief Engineer function and Site Safety TA
Requirements
* STEM Degree
* CEng (or equivalent)
* Nuclear Safety Analysis Process Management
* Cat A Nuclear Safety Case Leadership
* Expert in development and UK nuclear safety policy and methods
* Nuclear Facility Licensing and/or Authorisation
* Substantive experience of interaction with Nuclear Regulators
