My global client are urgently seeking a Software Developer based at their head office in Stoke-on-Trent.

The ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years' commercial full stack development experience using VB.NET andor C#. Proficiency developing with WinForms and SQL Server (Stored Procedures, schema design, etc) is essential.

A proven track record of developing applications requiring high levels of concurrency, performance and resilience is highly advantageous.

The successful applicant will be delivery focused and quality conscious. You will be passionate about software development and technology with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you will be highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A degree in a Computer Science discipline or relevant professional experience is essential.

An understanding of version control tools and issue management will be advantageous, as well as experience of providing on call support.
