Spring Technology's client based in Edinburgh are looking for a Senior Monitoring Engineer with good knowledge & experience with Linux and Data Centre.

This will be an initial 6 month contract and the day rate will be paying from £300 - £500 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities -

- Providing deep technical expertise across infrastructure and application spaces

- Establishing standards and working practices so they are both repeatable and optimal

- Providing knowledge and domain expertise to wider IT areas

- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues relating to the monitoring systems

- Reviewing designs to meet system capacity requirements

Technical Criteria -

- SME level of knowledge and experience across entire monitoring space

- Experience of working with modern monitoring stacks

- Expertise with data centre management monitoring

- Linux and/or Solaris
