An exciting digital agency specialising in bespoke online software solutions is looking for a talented PHP developer to join their growing team. On the back of a strong year of growth and recent client wins, the agency is looking to add a dynamic individual to work in their Landmark offices in the centre of Burnley.

You will be required to work closely within their small team on a vast variety of projects - from Bob the Chippy down the road to working on software for world-renowned brands.

The ideal candidate will be a great problem solver, able to work with both front end and back end technologies to an advanced level, developing new features and maintaining existing systems through to full projects.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 5 years' experience.

- Excellent knowledge of PHP, OOP and Design Patterns (MVC/Repository/MVVM)

- A good knowledge of MySQL, JS/JQuery, HTML5, CSS

- Experienced with Symfony framework

- Experienced with Doctrine ORM

- Experienced with unit testing (PHPUnit)

- Basic server management (Centos/Plesk)

- Pair programming / collaborative working

- Full Life Cycle product development

- Integration 3rd party APIs

- Ability to comfortably work with varying code styles and PHP versions

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

- Proactive and positive attitude towards solving problems

- Experience working to tight deadlines

- Ability to work on own initiative
